Chris Surrette, President

Chris was in the concrete business before he even got out of high school.  His first job was with an established foundation contractor in the Kansas City area.  He advanced himself through the ranks and rose quickly to the top.  He ultimately served as the General Manger of the company for several years and expanded his skill set to include all the management tools he needed to operate the entire business.  In the mid 1990’s the Kansas company was merged with a startup concrete company in Raleigh, NC. Chris a became a full partner at that time and continued his management responsibilities.  The Raleigh company was later reorganized, and C&J Concrete Foundations was created.  C&J has prospered every year since that time 13 years ago under Chris’ direction.
